What are the requirements for curtain box size and track compatibility?
For tubular motors, the curtain box width must exceed 13cm. Our motors are compatible with most standard aluminum tracks (single/dual rails) and support curtain widths from 0.7m to 2.2m, with maximum height 4m for roller blinds. Note that inner-opening windows are not recommended for installation.
Do I need a gateway for smart control? Which voice assistants are supported?
It depends on the protocol: Zigbee models require a gateway for remote control, while our self-developed AI MES H protocol models work without gateways. All models support Alexa, Google Home, and Mihome via app, with voice control available when paired with smart speakers.
Do your curtain motors support the Matter protocol? If yes, what advantages does this bring to my smart home setup?
Yes, all our motor models launched after 2025 fully support the Matter 1.4 protocol.
The Matter protocol brings three key benefits for your smart home:
1. Cross-ecosystem compatibility: You can control the curtain motor seamlessly across major smart home platforms (Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings) without switching between different apps. For example, you can set a "Morning Routine" in Apple Home that opens the curtains via our motor while turning on your Google Nest lights.
2. Simpler pairing: No need for brand-specific gateways (if you already have a Matter-enabled hub like Apple HomePod mini, Google Nest Hub, or Amazon Echo 4th Gen). Just scan the Matter QR code on the motor or use "Nearby Devices" in your preferred smart app to connect in 30 seconds.
3. Stable & low-latency control: Matter uses local network communication (instead of relying solely on cloud servers), so curtain opening/closing commands respond in ≤0.5 seconds—even if your internet connection is unstable.
How long does the battery last, and what charging specifications are required?
Wireless lithium battery models last 3-6 months with 1-2 daily uses. Use a 5V/2A (or higher) charger for 4-6 hours to reach 60-70% activation capacity. Solar charging accessories are optional for "Unlimited Battery Life" in well-lit areas.
What's the maximum load capacity, and can it fit heavy curtains?
Our curtain motors support up to 80KG load with 1.2N・m torque , suitable for thick blackout curtains. Tubular motors handle 30-50KG and work with blinds,and sheer curtains—with dimming control for adjustable light . Reverse direction via app or remote if control is inverted.
Why does the motor stop working suddenly, and how to fix it?
Common causes:
① Overheating protection (stops after 4 mins, resumes in 10-30 mins) ;
② Low battery (beeps when pressing remote—charge immediately) ;
③ Unset travel limits (follow app prompts to calibrate) . For jammed curtains, check for track obstacles first .
④ Some motors are equipped with an obstacle-detecting stop function.
What's the warranty policy, and how to get after-sales service?

Can I customize the motor for special projects?
Yes. We provide custom track lengths, torque adjustments (for extra-heavy curtains), and protocol adaptations (Zigbee/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth) . For commercial projects like hotels, we offer group control systems to avoid travel interference.
Is the motor certified for international markets, and does it work during power outages?
All motor have CE/FCC certifications. AC models support manual operation when power fails. Battery versions maintain basic function for 3-4 weeks after low-battery alert . Voltage can be customized for 110V regions upon request.
